He is currently running weekly 45-minute group spin bowling classes on Wednesdays only with sessions scheduled to start at 4.30pm, 5.15pm and 6.00pm with groups limited to a maximum of 4 players. If you played Under 12 cricket in season 2024/25 and want more coaching or training, you’re invited to join our Under 12 Group Training Squad on a Monday evening. The training sessions run from 5pm to 6.30pm and these sessions will follow the format of the Academy sessions we ran for SECA in the lead up to their successful Mitchell Shield and Josh Browne Plate campaign in January 2025. The sessions will include a brief warm up followed by skill-based drills covering batting, bowling, catching and throwing. The cornerstone of the session will be the ‘bat versus ball' segment managed by the coaches who will create game day scenarios for both batters and bowlers. The cost of these weekly 90 minute sessions are $50 per player and will continue through until the Winter Programme commences in June.. …

The Winter Programme is a structured cricket coaching program that runs for 10 weeks commencing the weekend of 27th & 28th June and running through July and August. Because children can have other weekend sporting commitments, we operate on both Saturdays and Sundays. Participants can attend either day to work around their other sporting pursuits.

The only pre-requisite to attend the Winter Programme is participants must be passionate about the game of cricket. They should be prepared to work hard to take their game to the next level.     This Thursday evening, the 25th July, a rare opportunity for keen young wicket keepers to hone their skills. One hour session from 6.30pm to 7.30pm run by Premier Firsts wicket keeper, Alex Bychkov. Spots are limited and cost $40 per player. Alex will will run through a series of keeping drills to help young keepers improve movement, hand positioning and rhythm. Keepers set the standard in the field with their energy, voice and glove work and Alex will demonstrate training drills to help you with your balance, agility, catching and stumping techniques. He will cover techniques when keeping up to the stumps for spinners and keeping to pace bowlers.   …
