It's been a long wait but the Victorian Government have given us the all clear to re-open at 6pm this Friday when Victoria is expected to reach the 80 percent double dose vaccination target so the online booking system is now open! Please note, if you are age 16 or over you must be doubled vaccinated for COVID-19 to enter the building. Children aged 15 and under can enter irrespective of their vaccination status...


Unfortunately yesterday's announcement regarding the easing of COVID restrictions in metropolitan Melbourne from tomorrow do not extend to Cricket HQ. Sadly, we are categorised like a gym (an indoor physical recreation and sport facility).

As from Sunday 14th February we are reintroducing our popular wicket keeping classes. These Sunday sessions run for 45 minutes with up to 3 participants at a time. These classes suit wicket keepers from beginners to accomplished players and participants will be introduced to cutting edge drills and keeping techniques. The cost is $55 for the 45 minutes...


We've all been waiting very patiently to get back to normal and we thought we'd be the last cab off the rank but we're really excited to announce that Cricket HQ can re-open for U18s one on one coaching as from Monday 9th November. So jump on our booking page (no walk ins allowed due to caps on numbers and traceability requirements) to make a time....


It is with much regret that Cricket HQ must again close its doors in line with the Victorian State Government Stage 4 Coronavirus restrictions. When we emerged from the previous lockdown we were overwhelmed with the positivity and support that we received from our loyal junior and senior cricketers plus local clubs. We hit the ground running having run 3 school holiday camps and both our Winter Programme and Victorian Junior Cricket Academy were in full swing. Never fear, we will be back and better than ever!   


We are again running school holiday cricket camps and have split the camps into Under 12 and Under 14 groups. Camps are limited to 15 players and the cost is $66 per session. All camps run from 9.30am to Midday.   


The Winter Programme is a structured cricket coaching program that runs for 10 weeks commencing the weekend of 27th & 28th June and running through July and August. Because children can have other weekend sporting commitments, we operate on both Saturdays and Sundays. Participants can attend either day to work around their other sporting pursuits.

The only pre-requisite to attend the Winter Programme is participants must be passionate about the game of cricket. They should be prepared to work hard to take their game to the next level. Most importantly, it’s NOT just for elite junior players, it’s for young players who want to build confidence and realise their full potential.


Thanks for your patience - with the State Government's announcement today that indoor sports centres are able to open from the 22nd June we can start planning for a safe re-opening....

    They're on again .... leading up to the start of the cricket season we have expanded our School Holiday Cricket Camps and opened up 4 days in the September/October School Holidays for 8-12 year old boys and girls wanting to hone their skills


    This Thursday evening, the 25th July, a rare opportunity for keen young wicket keepers to hone their skills. One hour session from 6.30pm to 7.30pm run by Premier Firsts wicket keeper, Alex Bychkov. Spots are limited and cost $40 per player. Alex will will run through a series of keeping drills to help young keepers improve movement, hand positioning and rhythm. Keepers set the standard in the field with their energy, voice and glove work and Alex will demonstrate training drills to help you with your balance, agility, catching and stumping techniques. He will cover techniques when keeping up to the stumps for spinners and keeping to pace bowlers.
