U12 And U14+ / Open Group Training Sessions
UNDER 12 & UNDER 14/Open Age GROUP TRAINING SESSIONS – Mondays (U14s through to Open Age),
Wednesdays (U12s), Saturdays & Sundays (both groups) in August
If you played Under 12 or Under 14 through to Seniors cricket in season 2025/26 and want more coaching or
training, you’re invited to join our Under 14+/Open Group Training Squad on Monday evenings or the Under 12 Group Training Squad on a
Wednesday evening. The training sessions run from 5pm to 6pm and these will follow the format of the Academy sessions we ran for SECA
in the lead up to their successful Mitchell Shield and Josh Browne Plate campaign in January 2025. The sessions will include a brief warm
up followed by skill-based drills covering batting, bowling, catching and throwing. The cornerstone of the session will be the ‘bat versus
ball' segment managed by the coaches who will create game day scenarios for both batters and bowlers. The cost of these weekly 60-minute
sessions are $50 per player, limited to 8 players per group.
